Interpreter Training

During various academic years since January 2014, I have taught on the MA in Conference Interpreting and Translation Studies (MACITS) at the University of Leeds, as an Arabic-English trainer in consecutive and simultaneous interpreting. I have also been a guest tutor at London Metropolitan University and a guest speaker at Aston University/ITI professional development events.
Public speaking

As a result of my own training and professional experience, I am a confident public speaker and workshop facilitator. If you are looking for a speaker for your event, or would like personalised training in public speaking, please get in contact.
Workshop facilitation

I am happy to design training workshops for any size of group based on my areas of expertise, or to help to deliver your own workshop in French, Spanish or Arabic alongside the English version.

I can also help you translate training materials and tailor your event to the local audience.
Professional Development
​
I have been an active participant and volunteer speaker at various WISE interpreting workshops since 2013 - these are peer-to-peer practice seminars for professional conference interpreters. I am also currently learning Portuguese through a combination of remote lessons, visits to Portugal and Brazil and independent study.
